Python Number Pattern 1

Here`s a program that prints the above number pattern using Python Programming:

example.py
Copied
Copy To Clipboard
for i in range(6, 1, -1):
    for j in range(1, i):
        print(j, end="")
    print()

💻 Testing the Program

When you run the above program, it will print the following output:

Output
12345
1234
123
12
1

🧠 How the Program Works

Let's break down the logic behind the code:

  1. The outer loop: for i in range(6, 1, -1):
    • This loop iterates over a range of numbers from 6 to 2 (inclusive) in reverse order (-1 is the step value). So, i will take the values 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2 during each iteration of this loop.
  2. The inner loop: for j in range(1, i):
    • This loop iterates over a range of numbers from 1 to i-1 (exclusive). The value of i changes with each iteration of the outer loop, so the range for the inner loop changes accordingly. This means that during each iteration of the outer loop, the inner loop will print a sequence of numbers from 1 to i-1.
  3. Printing the numbers: print(j, end="")
    • Within the inner loop, this line prints the current value of j without moving to the next line (due to the end="" argument). This will create a sequence of numbers on the same line.
  4. End of the inner loop: print()
    • After printing the sequence of numbers in the inner loop, this line is executed to move to the next line, effectively creating a new line for the next iteration of the outer loop.

💯 Tips for Enhancement:

Explore the versatility of this pattern by adjusting its parameters. Whether you increase or decrease the size, tweak the spacing, or modify the characters used, each change opens up a world of possibilities, allowing you to customize and create your unique visual effects.

✔ Conclusion:

Creating visually appealing patterns is not only a fun endeavour but also a great way to enhance your programming or design skills. We hope this tutorial has inspired you to explore the world of creative coding. Share your creations with us, and let your imagination run wild!
