PHP Number Pattern 1

Here`s a program that prints the above number pattern using PHP Programming:

example.php
Copied
Copy To Clipboard
<?php
for($i=5; $i>=1; $i--)
{
 for($j=1; $j<=$i; $j++)
  echo $j;
 echo "<br>";
}
?>

💻 Testing the Program

When you run the above program, it will print the following output:

Output
12345
1234
123
12
1

🧠 How the Program Works

Let's break down the logic behind the code:

  1. <?php and ?> are the opening and closing tags of PHP code, respectively. They indicate that the enclosed code should be interpreted and executed as PHP.
  2. for($i=5; $i>=1; $i--): This is a for loop that initializes a variable $i with the value 5. It then sets the loop to run as long as $i is greater than or equal to 1, and after each iteration, decrements $i by 1.
  3. for($j=1; $j<=$i; $j++): Within the outer loop, this is another for loop. It initializes a variable $j with the value 1. The loop continues as long as $j is less than or equal to the current value of $i, and after each iteration, increments $j by 1.
  4. echo $j;: Inside the inner loop, this line outputs the value of $j (which ranges from 1 to the current value of $i) to the output.
  5. echo "<br>";: After the inner loop completes for each value of $i, this line outputs an HTML line break (<br>) to move the cursor to the next line.
  6. The inner loop continues to run for each value of $i, printing the numbers from 1 to the current value of $i on the same line.
  7. Once the inner loop completes for a particular value of $i, the outer loop moves to the next iteration by decrementing the value of $i.
  8. This process continues until the condition of the outer loop ($i>=1) becomes false (i.e., $i becomes 0), at which point both loops terminate.

💯 Tips for Enhancement:

Explore the versatility of this pattern by adjusting its parameters. Whether you increase or decrease the size, tweak the spacing, or modify the characters used, each change opens up a world of possibilities, allowing you to customize and create your unique visual effects.

✔ Conclusion:

Creating visually appealing patterns is not only a fun endeavour but also a great way to enhance your programming or design skills. We hope this tutorial has inspired you to explore the world of creative coding. Share your creations with us, and let your imagination run wild!
