Java Number Pattern 15

Here`s a program that prints the above number pattern using Java Programming:

Demo.java
Copied
Copy To Clipboard
public class Demo
{
 public static void main(String[] args)
 {
  int i, j;
  for(i=1; i<=5; i++)
  {
   for(j=i; j>=1; j--)
    System.out.print(j % 2);
   System.out.println();
  }
 }
}

💻 Testing the Program

When you run the above program, it will print the following output:

Output
1
01
101
0101
10101

🧠 How the Program Works

Let's break down the logic behind the code:

  1. The program defines a class named Demo.
  2. Inside the class, there's a main method declared with the standard signature public static void main(String[] args). This is the entry point of the program.
  3. The variables i and j of type int are declared but not initialized.
  4. The outer loop runs from i = 1 to i <= 5. This loop controls the number of rows in the pattern.
  5. Inside the outer loop, there's an inner loop. The inner loop runs from j = i to j >= 1. This loop controls the number of binary digits to be printed in each row.
  6. Inside the inner loop, the program prints the value of j % 2. The expression j % 2 calculates the remainder when j is divided by 2, effectively producing alternating 0 and 1 values.
  7. After printing the binary digit, there's no space or newline character, so the digits are printed side by side.
  8. After the inner loop completes, the program uses System.out.println(); to move to the next line, starting a new row for the pattern.
  9. The outer loop continues to execute for each value of i, creating a row of alternating binary digits for each value.
  10. Once the outer loop completes, the program terminates.

💯 Tips for Enhancement:

Explore the versatility of this pattern by adjusting its parameters. Whether you increase or decrease the size, tweak the spacing, or modify the characters used, each change opens up a world of possibilities, allowing you to customize and create your unique visual effects.

✔ Conclusion:

Creating visually appealing patterns is not only a fun endeavour but also a great way to enhance your programming or design skills. We hope this tutorial has inspired you to explore the world of creative coding. Share your creations with us, and let your imagination run wild!
